12th August
We(Room 14), went to Art first thing in the morning. In this session, we started making clay monsters but we didn't do the whole thing, we just made the head and the body. The clay gets really gooey and will dry up on your hand. After Art we had our Numeracy but first, we always start the day watching a video clip together off BTN. For Numeracy, we revised on Division and Multiplication. Anyway its nearly Lunch time so I will stop writing.
!3th August
Today, first thing in the morning, we had RE(Religous Education). Everytime I go to room 13, we would sing a song. After RE, Lachlan,Brenton and David came to our room because Mr. Johnson was away. Next we had a game of Nasty and Mahli and I came Equal first. Then we had sport. In Sport we had practice at the Long Jump and the Triple Jump. We had to have practice because Athletics Day was on the 21st of this month!
After recess, we watched another BTN video clip and it was about the upcoming election bewteen Tony Abott and Julia Gillard. After that, we had some maths games and I played with David, Thats it today because its nearly Lunch.
16th August Today, in the morning it was spitting and I had to WALK to school! First we had assembly and after that we came back and had Maths. We started a new maths investigation and it was about opening a new restuarant. We had to work out everything we need, the ingredients and the cost of everything. Then we had Recess. When we came back in, we had CSI reading activities(not the CSI movie). After the reading activities, we went on to writing on this blog. After Lunch we will have an Inquiry session. I don't know what its going to be about but I hope its good. My Favourite Book and why, My favourite books are the ones by Gary Grew beacause lots of them have a very strong message in it and it is very inspiring. Also, lots of them are about wildlife how we should treat them and I also like it beacause I really like animals and care about them.
I've got a Book by Gary Crew at home and its called 'The Valley Of Bones'. A family goes to the outback in central Australia and their is a boy called lachlan and he meets up with a farm girl called Tara. They find a full pterectadyl fossil near a stream (Full pterectadyl fossils are really rare). Next, Their has been lots of sightings and rumours of people seeing a pterectadyl flying around. I liked that book because I like books that are mystery and have no answers at the end.

Koala Safety
I think that Koalas should be protected and there should be more fencings so the Koalas wouldn't wander out onto the road. I also think that the home companies should stop wiping and building over the koalas' homeland. There also should be more safety signs and vehicles should slow down in Koalas' homelands. I think that putting up these signs and ladder bridges, but not just for Koalas, but for all species that are getting killed on the highways.
